Exchange-traded funds (ETFs)
Explore market exposure through a fund traded on a stock exchange.

One traded fund.
Many underlying investments.
An exchange-traded fund holds a collection of investments and trades on a stock exchange. ETFs can follow different markets, sectors or strategies; they are not all interchangeable. Through Sagicor E Brokerage, you can ask about available ETFs, account options and the requirements for accessing international markets.
The right approach depends on your circumstances, existing arrangements and the provider’s current terms. We’ll help you understand the details in a consultation.
Look inside the ETF.
- Review the ETF’s prospectus, holdings and strategy, including any leverage or specialist exposure.
- Prices can fluctuate during trading, and diversification does not prevent losses.
- Confirm eligibility, foreign-exchange arrangements, tax considerations and how money is returned to Barbados.
- An index-tracking ETF follows its stated benchmark; it does not promise a fixed return. Understand the holdings, currency exposure, fees and how you can access your funds.
